Front man Alex Band’s powerful, emotionally-charged voice is immediately recognizable to millions of music lovers, thanks to his band The Calling’s chart-topping hit “Wherever You Will Go.” The song received the honor of being named the #1 Song Of The Decade and the #3 Song Of All Time according to Billboard’s Adult Pop Chart.

Another hit, “Why Don’t You and I,” featuring guitar legend, Carlos Santana, was the #5 Song Of The Decade according to Billboard’s Adult Pop Chart and #20 Adult Pop Song Of All Time.

The Calling’s other hits; eight #1 songs worldwide, include “For You” featured on the Daredevil soundtrack and “Our Lives” featured in the closing ceremonies of the 2004 Olympics as well as the opening song of the 78th annual Academy Awards.

The Calling has sold over 10 million records worldwide.

Alex Band has spent the last several years navigating an ever-changing music industry. From guest starring in TV Shows such as CSI NY, to writing and producing the theme song, “Tonight”, for the 2011 World Cup.
